How to Increase your Etsy Traffic and Sales this Valentine's Day!
With another major gifting holiday right around the bend, you’ll want to make sure your Etsy shop is optimized for those (vintage) lovers to find you!
I usually do really well with seasonal decor and I bring a lot of extra traffic to my shop just by stocking even a handful or a dozen or so listings that are popular during those few times of year. And remember that seasonal customers can very likely turn into year-round customers!
So if you haven’t done this yet, follow these steps to get your shop Valentine’s Day ready and take advantage of the extra L-O-V-E!
Go through your unlisted inventory and prioritize listing items that could be gifted or used as Valentine’s Day decor - think colors, (red, pink, purple, white), shapes (hearts, flowers, busts), jewelry, books, clothing, etc. And don’t forget gifts for kids as well as friends’ gifts - Galentine’s Day is totally a thing!
Review your active listings and update titles and tags (and even descriptions if you want to go all in) for those that could qualify as Valentine’s Day-themed.
Update your Featured Listings to include a few of your favorites.
If you have a good amount of Valentine’s Day themed listings, you may want to create a dedicated shop section!
Be sure to remove any keywords left over from last year, such as Christmas keywords if they are no longer relevant. Same thing goes when Valentine’s Day is over. Get your shop ready for that next holiday!
The Quick Edit feature in your Shop Manager is a great way to quickly update tags and titles.
So is your Etsy shop ready for Valentine’s Day?
