How to Take a Vacation From Your Etsy Shop Without Turning on Vacation Mode
Phew! 😅 We made it through the holiday season in one piece! Or did we? Who’s ready for a vacation?
As small business owners, it feels nearly impossible to step away from our shops, and I know for me it’s mostly for fear that I’ll miss out on sales and lose all of the momentum I’ve worked so hard to build up!
I recognize that we all need and deserve to step away to relax and recharge and there’s a right way to do it without worrying that our shops won’t see the same traffic and sales when we return.
And that way is by avoiding the dreaded “Vacation Mode” feature offered by Etsy that you may have heard about. I haven’t experienced it myself but have read many a story about Etsy shop owners experiencing issues with their shop traffic returning to normal after using the feature.
If you don’t want to take the chance, then have no fear, I got ya covered with a workaround! So if you need a vacation after this crazy holiday season, plan on taking one in the future, or just want to put fulfilling orders on hold until you have confidence in the postal service again, then these tips are for you! 🙌🏼
