Hello Vintage Seller!!

Join me for an unforgettable 3-night sourcing trip to the Brimfield Antique Flea Market in Brimfield, MA from May 14th-17th, 2024, where you'll make life-long friendships, enjoy worry-free meals and accommodations, receive group and 1:1 coaching, and effortlessly gain new skills to grow your vintage business!

This is the trip you’ve always dreamed of - picture yourself being surrounded by like-minded women who love selling vintage as much as you do. You’ll get to spend hours and hours sourcing for your shop at one of the biggest and best antique shows in the world. All you have to do is get there - no need to stress over details like meals and activities - it’s all taken care of for you.

In addition to sourcing, you’ll be treated to first class meals, snacks and drinks, and will get to relax and recharge in a spacious country home just minutes away from the flea market with beautiful outdoor grounds, and even a pool! There will be designated times where we will have structured coaching sessions, including a product photography lesson and other lessons subject to group preference. Each participant will also get 1:1 time with me to talk about your shop and goals.

Already have a packed suitcase and are wondering how you are going to get your vintage finds home? Free packing materials will be provided along with the ability to purchase and print postage. I will personally drop off your packages at USPS, UPS or FedEx after the retreat. If you need packing services, I can ship for you for a an extra fee. Furniture and large items excluded, however, I will help you find the best way to get large items home.

I will be your personal guide to Brimfield - prepping you with information and details leading up to the retreat and assisting you while you are shopping. Need help looking for something specific, negotiating prices, and bringing items back to the car or house? I’m here for you!

In the case of inclement weather, we can shop at thrift stores and antique malls in the area instead of going to the flea market but unless it’s absolutely pouring out, we will be there!

You will participate in group coaching sessions, including an interactive product photography lesson. Props and backgrounds will be available for you to sharpen your photography skills and take photos of your recently found inventory so you can get it listed and sold ASAP.

Over the course of the week, I will be capturing photographs and videos of you in your element that you will be able to use in social media and branding, including headshots.

You will have access to a private group chat via Voxer or Facebook Messenger for two weeks leading up to the retreat and for one week after, for the purpose of getting to know one another and so I can gather preferences for the trip such as meals, snacks drinks, coaching lessons, sourcing preferences, and any other special needs. You will be able to ask me anything on the group chat, including questions about your shop unrelated to Brimfield!

There are full retreat spots available as well as day passes for locals only who will not be staying at the house. Space is very limited!

Could this sound any better? Keep reading for all the details and to reserve your spot! Oh and don’t forget that this retreat and any other related expenses count as deductions at tax time!

FAQ

Is this retreat for me?

It’s a YES if you are…

  • A passionate and driven vintage seller of any level (on any platform)

  • Seeking a super fun, intimate and transformative experience with a small group of like-minded women

  • Someone who is up for the challenge of sourcing vintage from hundreds of dealers and wants to experience Brimfield to its fullest

  • Willing to take a risk and invest in yourself and your business

And a NO if…

  • You aren’t flexible and aren’t willing to go with the flow of the group

  • You have physical limitations that would prevent you from being on your feet for several hours at a time over multiple days

  • You don’t tolerate being in crowds, using port-o-potties, or getting a little dusty or dirty

  • You aren’t comfortable sharing a bedroom and staying in a house with others you may not know well

  • You require a lot of alone time throughout the day

Who else will be on this retreat?

There will be up to 7 women staying in the house, including me, your host, as well as local sellers who will be joining us for the day. We are all driven, passionate, fun women with a positive mindset who LOVE vintage and love being part of a community. We all want to succeed in the industry

I live locally and still want to join you but I don’t want to stay at the house, can I still come?

Yes! Although you won’t get the full benefits of the group experience if you don’t stay at the house. You can purchase day passes for Tuesday or Wednesday, and join us for all of that day’s activities, including meals. When you sign up for both days, you are also invited to Tuesday night’s welcome reception and dinner.

I’ve never been to the Brimfield Antique Flea Market, how will I know what to do?

That’s what I’m here for! I’ll be prepping you weeks in advance with what to expect, how to prepare, what to wear, what to bring, how it works, and even give you tips on how to negotiate, etc. I’ll be asking you what you want to source so that I can best plan for you to make the most out of the market. You will be able to ask questions via our private group chat as well. We’ll also go over everything at our welcome reception. I’ll also be available as your guide when we’re at the flea market and in the thick of it!

Where is the retreat house and how do I get there?

The retreat house is in Brimfield, MA, less than 10 minutes away from the flea market! You will get the address a few weeks before the retreat.

The closest airports are Boston Logan International Airport - BOS (1 hour away), Hartford’s Bradley International Airport - BDL (45 minutes away), or an airport in NYC or NJ (3+ hours). From there you can get a car service, take an Uber, or rent a car to get to the retreat house.

If you are driving, the retreat house is 5 mins. from major highways I-90 and I-84.

You can also look into train services like Amtrak or the Acela. If you need more recommendations, I can provide suggestions.

Once you are at the retreat, all transportation will be taken care of, unless you want to go on a non-group excursion.

Airfare and transportation to and from the retreat house upon arrival and departure is NOT included in the price of the retreat.

What’s the food and drink situation?

I’ll be asking the group for their food and drink preferences and will do my best to accommodate dietary restrictions. Breakfast will be self-serve each morning (coffee, tea, an assortment of fruit, yogurt, eggs, toast, bagels - whatever everyone requests) and you are welcome to any of the food and snacks that you want.

We will go have a casual welcome reception the first night, go out to dinner one night, and have a chef come in to cook a gourmet meal.

I’ll be gathering your snack preferences and will load up the house with plenty to eat!

For lunch since we will be at the flea market and most likely not all together as a group, you will be responsible for buying your own lunch. You are welcome to pack food from the house to take to the flea market if you’d like.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Your purchase is non-refundable for any reason unless your spot can be filled. Refunds are not guaranteed. Participation in the entire retreat is encouraged to get the full experience and there will be no discounts for late arrivals or early departures or for opting out of any activity or meal.

ABOUT YOUR HOST, CAROLINE

Hi, I’m Caroline and I’m obsessed with all things vintage - sourcing, selling, and empowering fellow vintage entrepreneurs to success through my super supportive private Mastermind community and one-on-one coaching. I’ve been operating my shop on Etsy since 2015 and have lots of experience sourcing AND selling at a variety of markets and events, including dusty old flea markets here in New England!

I’ve been attending Brimfield as a buyer for many years and was invited to be a seller in the live Brimfield shows held on Instagram during Covid when the flea market was shut down for the year. I’ve never shied away from getting my hands dirty and digging through piles in order to find a gem. In fact, it’s my favorite way to source vintage! I’m a picker through and through.

One of my biggest passions is bringing people together - I’ve always been the girl who threw the party or helped people make a connection. Bringing like-minded vintage sellers together to help support one another has been a dream come true for me and I’m excited to take it to another level with this retreat! I hope you’ll join us on the ultimate treasure hunt!
